Many a Times, we have asked ourselves this question: Is my IMEI/Phone Authentic?????
The reason this question pops up is Chinese Manufacturers are flooding the World Market with cheap imitation phones. (I went to a dubious shop & came across a Nokia 6300: Exact Body, But OS, completely different!!!!)
This put me to thinking, If I buy a phone, how do I verify my IMEI is unique. It is very likely, that a Chinese Vendor might have manufactured the phone & inserted some Nokia model's IMEI.
