M-Edge, a developer of accessories for ebook readers, wasted no time in becoming one of the first to make mention of some of its products being compatible with the new Amazon Kindle 2. We profiled this new ebook reader earlier this week.
Two jackets from the M-Edge line up will work with the Kindle 2. These include the Executive, priced starting around $30, and the Platform, priced starting around $30 as well. The Executive, offered in genuine and synthetic leather, is said to offer full device protection and features a wraparound closure strap. It is available in a variety of colors.

The Platform jacket, meanwhile, offers a new bookstand design that allows users to read their Kindles upright and hands-free. Both jackets, available this month, also work with the company's revamped e-Luminator booklight, which lets users read in low-light environments. It will be available next month.
