View a Blocked E-Mail Attachment
The maximum security settings for Outlook Express automatically block some attachments you receive. This only applies to attachments like executable programs that are widely regarded as carriers of viruses or other digital threats. If you want to receive a blocked attachment, you can temporarily disable this feature:
1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Click the Tools drop-down menu.
3. Select Options.
4. A window opens. Click the Security tab.
5. Remove the checkmark in the Do Not Allow Attachments to Be Saved or
Opened that Could Potentially Be a Virus box.
6. Click the Apply button.
7. Click the OK button.
8. When you finish viewing or opening the attachment, return to the Security tab and put back the checkmark in the Do Not Allow Attachments to Be Saved or Opened that Could Potentially Be a Virus box.
9. Click the Apply button.
10. Click the OK button.

10. Click the OK button.
