The Very First Lighter Phone SB6309

Although I fully admit to chuckling quite a bit after first seeing this cellphone with a built-in cigarette lighter, I can see some practicality with it. After all, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard of my smoking friends losing their lighter. I’ve been asked numerous times if I happen to have a lighter on me, despite that they’re fully aware I don’t smoke. Having a lighter built into your cellphone would come in incredibly handy. After all, your phone is almost always somewhere within reach.....

The BookArc is a simple stand designed to take your fancy Apple laptop and turn it into a desktop computer. Sort of.

Essentially, it's a sexy stand that holds it vertically and puts it on display, lining up the ports for plugging in stuff like a monitor, keyboard and mouse. For people who like having a large setup at home but want to be able to bring their computer with them on the go, this is a good solution.

Nokia Booklet 3G netbook : 12hr battery, HSPA and GPS

Nokia have announced their own netbook, the Nokia Booklet 3G, promising up to 12 hours battery life together with integrated WiFi, 3G HSPA and GPS. The 1.25kg netbook has an aluminum chassis and measures around 2cm thick; it uses an unspecified Intel Atom processor, has an HDMI output for HD video playback and a 10.1-inch glass HD-ready display.

Other ports include three USB 2.0 connectors and an SD card slot, plus there’s Bluetooth and a front-facing webcam. OS is Windows 7, at least going by the video below, and there’s integration with Nokia’s Ovi services including Maps for Ovi that uses the GPS and A-GPS, music downloads, VPN integration and more. Nokia are also talking about a hot-swappable SIM slot, which suggests you’ll be able to flip between 3G connections without needing to shut off the Booklet.

Nokia are promising the full specifications and pricing for the Booklet 3G at Nokia World next week.

The worlds Greenest Gaming PC

It's the smallest, most energy efficient gaming PC on the market today. Based on NVIDIA ION-graphics, the Pulse is also the world's first GeForce-upgradeable ION PC. By offering special edition GeForce 9600 GT and 9800 GT graphics that consume 40% less power, a fully loaded Pulse consumes less than 145 watts under load while gaming.

Tiny chassis, Full Tower Performance.
The Pulse is a racecar wrapped in a HEPA filter bag enclosed in a sleek chassis. It's our most environmentally safe PC to date and it's got horsepower.

Airflow.
MAINGEAR is about functionality that looks amazing. Our chassis design is a textbook example of how airflow can be manipulated to cool key components which in turn lowers overall ambient temperatures. Our chassis moves plenty of air over the most common yet most crucial problem areas: the GPU(s) and CPU(s). By lowering the overall temperature in the chassis the components are able to perform faster and more reliably for longer. By positioning the internal power supply to intake cool air directly from outside the chassis, the Pulse is able to maintain its energy efficiency through cooling key components.

Media Capable.
Pulse also includes 802.11b/g wireless for optimal connectivity adn eSata support for max expandability. Optional Blu-ray and TV Tuner make Pulse a great option for enjoyment in the living room.

Upgradability.
Serious Gamers have the option of adding a GeForce 9600 GT or 9800 GT ECO discrete graphics card that consumes 40% less power than a standard GeForce 9800GT. The GeForce 9800 GT ECO comes in both 512MB and 1GB flavors.

Efficiency.
MAINGEAR PCs now built with the earth-conscious in mind, offer energy savings while still pulling its weight. For example our power supplies are 80+ efficient. More efficient power delivery means less energy is wasted.

Samsung SyncMaster T220

Samsung Devices are famous for their high-tech features and amazing designs! That is why they stand apart from the crowd. Now Samsung has entered the field of LCD monitors as well. But mind you, they are not those ordinary ones….

The company has taken to making great-looking monitors and it makes sense also as the market is flooded with the demand of high-tech LCD monitors these days. The SyncMaster T220 is the latest addition to Samsung’s LCD monitor line up that is designed, not only to fulfill the need of an LCD monitor but also to enhance the desktop even when it’s turned off.

Design

  • A Touch of Color bezel like the L6 series of Samsung LCD TVs.
  • A clear plastic cover laminated over a black bezel.
  • A subtle red highlights along the bottom edge.
  • Gives a look of sophistication and class.

To enhance the overall look of the ToC bezel, a touch sensitive power button is placed at the bottom left corner of the bezel. It not only gives an amazing red glow, but enhances the look as well.

  • The plastic base is oval and is prone to wobble.
  • The base can tilt backwards by about 30 degrees.
  • The OSD buttons are placed to the right side of the monitor.
  • The back of the monitor is all glossy.
  • Equipped with a VGA (D-Sub) and a DVI-D port.
  • Power input for the monitor.

Dell Studio XPS Desktop

Dell Studio XPS Desktop with Fastest Intel Core i7 Processor

Dell has finally launched the Studio XPS Powerful desktop for users who are looking for performance and not looks. This is because this is a Desktop PC which costs you around 86000Rs[1650USD], and comes with a huge display of 24″ flat monitor[S2409WFP], 512MB ATI Radeon HD4580 graphics card along with a 500GB hard drive and a Blue Ray Combo drive which makes it a PC which is useful for high end users and not for people who use a PC for entertainment.

Along with the inner configuration if you are interested about the CPU Cabinet its a Tower with 8 USB ports for your need with 4 in front and 4 in back because nowadays everyone needs a USB port in the front for connecting to External Headphones, External Hard Drives and USB Pen Drives. Along with this the desktop features two IEEE 1394 (4-pin in the front, 6-pin in the back), a microphone/line in (front and back), built- in 7.1 audio support (six connectors), S/PDIF, eSata (all in the back).

I dont really understand why the company claims that the PC can support upto 1TB of hard drive because mostly all the latest PC’s support this kind of storage quantity if there are drives available for the same. There are totally 2 slots for the CD drives where you can add up another Blue Ray Player if needed. The PC comes along with a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows Vista Operating system which is a excellent OS for this kind of configuration along with the DDR3 memory which can help you in increasing the overall performance and allow you for multi-tasking programs.

The only reason of the higer price is feel is the usage of the latest Intel Core i7 processor which itself costs a lot when compared to the previous processors available in the market. This processor is claimed to be the fastest processor in the market with Dell Claiming that this PC can offer you upto 44% faster video editing and performance in case if you are into graphics related works.
